It's smaller even than the original 7-inch Eee PC.
Of course, a touch-screen laptop is not meant to be primarily used with a traditional keyboard and touch pad. The screen on the Eee PC T91 is a resistive touch panel, so it works with any input device, such as your fingers or the included nonactive stylus. And because using a small touch screen, whether on a 9-inch Netbook or an even smaller UMPC, can be a Asus Eee PC T91 Netbook when trying to fumble around Windows XP, Asus has included a custom interface meant for finger-driven computing.
You launch the Touch Gate interface by either tapping a physical button on the screen bezel you hold the same button down to rotate through screen orientationslaunching from a desktop shortcut, or by tapping a launch button on the Mac-like Eee dock bar that sits at the top of the Windows XP desktop. There's a short animation of the screen rotating, landing on the main Touch Gate interface window.

ASUS Eee PC T91 Review
Build quality is quite good despite the mostly plastic construction. The glossy black plastics suffer from minimal flex, the keyboard is very firm, and the screen hinge provides excellent tension.
The bottom of the netbook chassis shows a simple RAM access cover. If you want to Asus Eee PC T91 Netbook the RAM in your T91 all you have to do is remove two screws on the access panel on the bottom of the netbook. I would have also liked to see an easy-access panel for the SSD, but since the T91 includes a second SD card slot just for storage expansion I suppose I can live without easy access to the internal SSD.
ASUS was also kind enough to include a soft slipcase to keep the glossy T91 looking like new when you Asus Eee PC T91 Netbook it inside your backpack, briefcase, or purse. The glossy screen offers good color and contrast, but glare and reflections indoors under strong lights or outdoors under direct sunlight can be a problem.
The touchscreen accuracy seems good, Asus Eee PC T91 Netbook our review unit required recalibration after it arrived since the touchscreen was showing activity about a half inch to the right of where we touched the screen. After calibration everything worked fine. Asus Eee PC T91 Netbook only issue I had with the 8. Vertical viewing angles are average, with obvious color inversion when viewing from below and some over-exposed colors when viewed from above.
Horizontal viewing angles are less than impressive with colors starting to shift at wide viewing angles possibly a result of the touchscreen layer.
The built-in speaker performance on the Eee PC T91 is pretty good for a 8. The speakers produce good volume enough to fill a small room and there is minimal distortion until you get to higher volume levels. The speakers lack any real bass, but the range of highs and midtones are fine. That being said, the audio output from the headphone jack is probably the best solution when paired with earphones or a good set of external speakers. Asus' experiment with a touch-enabled Eee PC, although commendable, doesn't really fly too well practically.
Granted the Asus Eee PC T91's tiny and easy to carry around, but its touch interface isn't Asus Eee PC T91 Netbook perfect. Single Review, online Asus Eee PC T91 Netbook, Long, Date: Seven months later, the final product is here, and it's largely successful for a first attempt at this kind of hybrid.
It's a much Asus Eee PC T91 Netbook flexible way to interact with a Netbook--especially if you're tripped up by the tiny touch pads and keyboards found on most minilaptops. Asus does a good job combining a Netbook and a touch screen in the Eee PC T91, even if the system hits a couple of first-generation snags.

Hot Hardware We were impressed with the battery life nearly five hours, Asus Eee PC T91 Netbook as claimedbut we didn't appreciate the non-removable nature of the battery. Also, the trackpad was great, but the keys were cramped due to the small chassis. The display looked washed out and was mushy to the touch, but that's what you get in a resistive touch panel.
